Building Pathology

The investigation and subsequent understanding of the reasons behind building failures.  The building surveyor considers the building holistically to asses the performance of components and materials in respect of their compatibility, environment, occupancy and building use etc.


Once this information is procured and the building performance is well understood, the data is utilised to develop a strategy for the building dependent on the landlord and tenant needs.  This will usually entail either a remedial solution, or devising a managed solution to problems identified.
